    Loan Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Obtain all available and necessary financial data from the credit file or outside sources
    • Spread and analyze financial statements - study and evaluate the information and prepare written reports for the lender
    • Inform loan officer when up-to-date financial statements are needed on a commercial account
    • Inform account officer about the expiration of voted lines of credit; assist in the renewal of the line
    •Check pledged assets as requested by the lending officer
    • Assist and provide back-up support to the commercial credit officer
    • Underwrite loans under supervision of loan officer or manager
    • Analyze financial information of applicants
    • Will have extensive contact with customers and the public, conducting relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the bank
    • Will be called upon from time to time to participate with community organizations and in community projects

    Requirements

    Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

    •Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience strongly preferred
    •Good communication skills, both oral and written
    •Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusion

    DescriptionResponsibilities & Duties
    • Prepare and review all loan documents necessary to close and disburse loans.
    • Follow up insurance.
    • Administration of loan disbursement for line of credit and construction loan.
    • Verify authorized signer & obtain signature of borrower(s)/guarantor(s) (Credit File & Documents).
    • Prepare the Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annual loan reports for the Department.
    • Order of the credit reports (Experian), environmental and preliminary title reports as requested by loan officer.
    • Review the department’s expense invoice and Order the department’s supply
    • General administrative support services for other staffs.
    RequirementsEducation
    Minimum Education Level: Associate’s Degree
    Combination of Experience and Education can meet the job requirements: No

    Language Requirement
    English: Written: Advanced Verbal: Fluent
    Korean: Written: Intermediate Verbal: Conversational

    Computer/Systems Knowledge Requirements
    Microsoft Outlook: Intermediate
    Microsoft Word: Intermediate
    Microsoft Excel: Intermediate

    • Required: Good oral communication skills; ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent from a 4-year college or university; related experience and/or training.
