    JOB SUMMARY

    The Assistant Purchasing Manager is responsible for supplier and vendor relationships, supplies, equipment, furniture, and other items used in the building and maintaining Paris Baguette business. This will be done in the near future. Sourcing new products, services, and suppliers to improve cost, quality, and availability are also integral parts of this job.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies for Paris Baguette

    · Perform cost and scenario analysis to effectively manage purchasing activities and improve profitability for west, east, and northern California operations

    · Spearhead projects such as direct purchase with Sysco, build purchasing organization with appropriate R & R, and establish transparent bidding process for raw materials, supplies, equipment, and furniture

    · Review and determine optimal inventory levels and safety requirements.

    · Oversee purchase related information and review reports to make appropriate business decisions. Utilize ERP from SAP and QuickBooks to review and make business decisions

    · Track and report metrics to reduce expenses and overall efficiency. Including problem resolution and purchasing orders with such changes on purchase orders, returned goods, and invoicing problems

    · Along with the Supply Chain General manager resolves supplier related problems and forwards problems

    · The Perform duties the AS OTHER Related Assigned

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    · Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience required

    · Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in the Food & Beverage Industry

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    · Requires aptitude to work with figures and financial reports per guideline

    · The Effective Verbal and written Communication Skills and Is the ability to Interface with the Required Trade shows All levels of the STAFF

    · Prior, Experience with the Usage of ERP, WMS, Microsoft Office Suite the Applications, QuickBooks
