We are H Mart, the largest Asian supermarket chain in America. Starting in 1982 with a single store in Woodside, Queens, H Mart has grown to include more than 67 stores across the United States. H Mart is America’s premier Asian food destination and provides groceries and everyday essential needs as well as upscale products. H Mart offers a full line of Asian foods as well as a broad range of Western groceries to complement its full scale offering to that of a traditional supermarket. H Mart is also known for its innovative new food halls which are an extension of over 37 years of providing eateries in its stores.

 

Position Description:

 

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Review purchase report received from stores
  • Search items by item code, bar code, or UPC code on H Mart sales database
  • Enter information, such as description, quantity, and wholesale price for each item
  • Make status report for invoice data uploaded by stores
  • Compare vendors’ invoices or item lists to database to check accuracy of items’ descriptions and quantity

Qualifications and Specifications:

  • Must be able to work legally in the U.S.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to pay attention to details
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to operate a computer persistently and constantly
  • Must be able to perform arithmetic operations and report on and/or carry out a prescribed action in relation to them
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision and depending on
    oneself to get things done
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time
  • Bilingual in Korean and English or Spanish preferred (Korean is a must)
