About SMEC America Corp.

We are a sales entity representing machinery products imported from Korea to the US. SMEC America was established in 2018 and we continue to grow, we are in need of an office manager to handle all office related duties. as well as order processing and AR/PR with minimal bookkeeping. Support headquarters in regards to Accounting and Finance. We are seeking an individual that will be able to take on all office duties and grow with us. Being able to be bilingual both in Korean/English is required.

 

JOB SUMMARY

Office management

Processing orders - coordination with warehouse and distributors

Accounts payable/receivable management (Bookkeeping experience a plus)

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work under the supervision of COO/Director of Sales.

Review and process sales order for equipment and part sales related documents

Organize all data regarding sales order of equipment and part sales 

Accounts receivable and payable processing

Manage logistics of machines inbound from factory and outbound within North America, maintain relationship with distributors to process orders, prepare shipping documents, and others

Manage all office related activities and other duties assigned by the COO

Other duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Green Card or Citizenship holders only.

Ability to read, write and speak English and Korean to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward and professional, timely and pleasant manner

Must have experience using Excel spreadsheets and other software applications (i.e MS office, Quickbooks, others)

Ability to work independently, prioritize, organized and process documents effectively

Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines

Ability to work seated for prolonged periods of time

Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties

Knowledge of all functions and related tasks in the area of analysis and reporting

Knowledge of general accounting and billing procedures

 

EDUCATION

College Degree Preferred

Salary: $50,000 ~ $60,000 /year
