Operations Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Supports the Branch Manager to develop the banking center’s performance by identifying and hiring top talent, setting clear objectives for the branch and each employee, implementing strategies to achieve sales and service goals, and monitoring overall progress.
  • Demonstrates success in consistently meeting sales, service and operational performance goals by maximizing sales referrals, overseeing training, and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Leverages leadership skills to motivate, coach, and develop employees to their highest potential.
  • Keeps associates current with updates about new procedures, operational processes, product changes, sales and service results, or regulatory initiatives, and implements the necessary measures so that these changes are being executed properly.
  • Constructs partnerships with the branch team to effectively connect customers to the appropriate business partners who can help them with specialized financial needs.
  • Resolves customer complaints and concerns in a satisfactory and timely manner.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma

Minimum Experience: Minimum 5 years in banking and 3 years in a supervisory position.

Operations Officer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Handle all branch operations including the approval of deposits and handling withdrawals and other operations-related transactions for the amount up to the authorized approval limit.
  • Audits tasks completed by Customer Service Specialists and investigates out-of-balance situations.
  • Performs tasks normally performed by the branch operations staff(s) when needed.
  • Resolves any issues brought upon by irate customers in a calm and effective manner.
  • Maintains a high level of awareness in areas of regulatory compliance, loss prevention, security matters, and adherence to the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Trains and manage new branch operation staff(s) in basic job skills, regulatory compliance, loss prevention, policies and procedures, cross-selling, customer service, etc.
  • Reviews reports for risk control (NSF, O/D, Kiting suspect, G/L, Balance Fluctuation, Large Deposit)
  • Orders and sells cash and stays within assigned branch cash limits.
  • Reconciles GL balances and accounts.
  • Participates in conducting meetings for branch operations.
  • Performs any and all other tasks, assignments and projects as assigned by an Administrator as required in the operations admin.
  • Provides backup for all Branch Manager and Operations Manager duties when necessary. 

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

Required: At least 3 years of experience working in branch operations.

Required: Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Required: Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Required: Strong organizational skills with a willingness to adapt to change as needed in a fast paced environment.

 

 

Customer Service Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Achieves and exceeds individual and branch sales and service targets through recommendations of new and existing products and services (e.g. accounts, loans, and credit cards), sales referrals, cross-selling, up-selling in a results-driven environment and provide the great experience to every customer.
  • Uses a strong knowledge in the products and services offered at the Bank to confidently educate customers about the features, benefits, and pricing so they are better informed with a deeper level of understanding.
  • Orders checks and makes changes to customer information in an accurate and timely manner according to the customer’s request.
  • Provides exceptional service in handling customers in person or over the telephone.
  • Processes deposits, withdrawals, check cash, loan payments and other transactions including but not limited to reject items and returned items.
  • Involves supervisors if transactions are over authority limits or exceptionally complex.
  • Responsible for loss prevention in the processing all transactions and duties.
  • Issues cashier’s checks, bank checks, money orders and travelers checks.
  • Keeps work station neat, clean and well stocked with supplies and brochure materials.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma

Minimum Experience: Some experience in retail sales and customer service functions a plus.

Teller

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Uses excellent communication and active listening skills to learn about the customer’s financial needs, establish trust, optimize sales opportunities, generate leads, and provide quality customer service.
  • Achieves and exceeds individual and branch sales and service targets through recommendations of new and existing products and services (e.g. accounts, loans, and credit cards), sales referrals, cross-selling, up-selling in a results-driven environment and provide the great experience to every customer.
  • Uses a strong knowledge in the products and services offered at the Bank to confidently educate customers about the features, benefits, and pricing so they are better informed with a deeper level of understanding.
