1. Accounting Assistant Manager (Englewood Cliffs, NJ)


We are currently searching for a highly motivated (Bilingual) Accounting Assistant Manager at Pantos USA, Inc.


Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform closing procedures in all accounting areas; cash, prepaid, fixed assets, AR, AP, payroll,
    general expenses, accruals, and post-closing reporting protocols.
  • Conduct treasury function; maintain banking relationship, monitor daily cash activities, and forecast cash flow positions to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
  • Actively collaborate with other departments to meet financial objectives; Work with human
    resources to ensure timely and accurate payroll accounting with general ledger and have ongoing
    discussions with operations.
  • Identify and comply with federal/state/international tax obligations.
  • Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing accounting and expense
    policies.
  • Review account reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and variance analysis for monthly
    closing.
  • Coordinate annual financial audits and quarterly reviews successfully to meet tight deadlines.
  • Lead and coordinate M&A activities.
  • Assist with managing a team of professionals in obtaining and analyzing data from various sources (e.g., systems, schedules, external vendors, etc.) for the preparation of statutory and GAAP financial statements, consolidations, and other reports.
  • Lead efforts to automate various processes by developing a deep understanding of source data and end-user needs and then assist in the design, implementation, and oversight of solutions.
  • Review and oversee the preparation of monthly journal entries in the accounting system.
  • Assist in the management of the Company’s consolidation process, including elimination entries and execution of internal controls.
  • Assist in the management of our internal and external financial reporting process.
  • Manage the preparation of quarterly and annual statutory statements for insurance regulators.
  • Build and analyze management reports.
  • Assist in the function of the Company’s audit program, including interfacing with internal and external auditors as well as business leaders.
  • Serve as a resource for special projects with the ability to both lead as well as provide
    meaningful contributions.


Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Korean and English is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Accounting in Master Degree preferred)
  • US CPA is a plus.
  • 2 or more years of accounting experience.
  • Must have a driver’s license & be able to travel to other states and foreign countries.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

2. Process Innovation Engineer (Englewood Cliffs, NJ) 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a team member of Process Innovation team, a candidate is expected to:

  • Provide business process analysis, process reformation and/or IT systems modification suggestions in accordance with proposed changes.
  • Perform employee interviews to gather relevant data, process & analyze them with various tools, come up with innovative suggestions and present an organized proposal to concerned parties.
  • Search for third party service or product providers, compare & evaluate them with functions and prices, support the decision making process and run the implementation projects.
  • Document all steps of PI procedures, write standard operation process manuals and train employees.
  • Support and guide other departments (internal customers) to run their own PI projects.
  • Provide benchmarking, case study and insights about logistics automation to the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

A candidate must have relevant education or experiences as below:

  • Minimum 5+ years of work experiences in Logistics and Transportation field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of BPR, PI or consulting experiences.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Project Management experiences.
  • Bachelor in Engineering or equivalent IT / Computer Science experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills both in written and verbal.
  • Proven problem solving skills in various environments and cases.


PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

A candidate with experiences or skillsets below will be preferred:

  • Experiences with various analysis and statistics tools.
  • Experiences with project management methodologies and/or software.

3. HR Payroll Specialist (Englewood Cliffs, NJ) 

We are currently searching for a highly motivated Bilingual (Korean & English) HR Payroll Specialist.


Core Roles & Responsibilities


Payroll Management

  • Collect, calculate and enter payroll information for the entire organization
  • Prepare and load external batches to ADP enterprise for payroll processing
  • Prepare payroll entries for general ledger in collaboration with Finance
  • Generate payroll reconciliation and audit reports to ensure accuracy of data
  • Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability and non-taxable wages
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests

Payroll Analysis & Reporting

  • Run existing structured and ad-hoc reports for validation purposes
  • Prepare and review with supervisor various payroll reports including headcount analysis after completion
  • Respond to payroll inquiries; provide information and resolve payroll issues
  • Escalate complex or sensitive problems to supervisor for resolution
  • Perform other HR generalist duties

Experience

  • Education: Bachelor degree

5. Load Planner (Englewood Cliffs, NJ)

 

[Primary R&Rs]

60%        Expedited shipments

  • Obtains all AFA/Expedite/Tradeshow/Samples rate requests from order management for all shipments and orders originating out of our LG DCs
  • Sets up all Expedite, Tradeshow, and in system Samples from of our LG DC’s
  • Sets up all in system white glove deliveries for VIP customers and tradeshows
  • Reports are generated for all expedited shipments.

 

20%        Track and Trace

  • All Expedited shipments that have been set up by Load Planner to ensure on time delivery is made.
  • Email request sent by anyone within the company asking for the status of an order or load, --follow-up that they shipped and when they will deliver for the organization
  • Responsible for order re-consignments and after the fact accessorial charges.
  • Works with requestors and carriers to have shipments upgraded to guarantee on time delivery.
  • Compiles data for a daily compliance customer report for LG corporate by ensuring that order are not at risk for not meeting customer compliance (reduction in chargebacks)

5%          International Orders

  • Quotes International orders originating out of our LG DCs for all load planners, when they request
  • Completes Commercial invoices for all expedited shipments

5%          POD/ BOL / PL Requests

  • Provides POD’s

10%        Coverage

  • Assists team members with their duties when needed

We are looking for a highly motivated Bilingual (Korean & English) Transportation Coordinator. 

Core Roles & Responsibilities

  • Communicate and coordinate with carries to ensure same day IOD (Information of Delivery) is completed.
  • Update Transportation Management System with given information from both internal and external parties.
  • Provide detailed instruction to various customers & associates from other shifts by phone and e-mail.
  • Provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking, process over-sight, auditing, researching and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.
  • Research and verify root cause of same day IOD failures.
  • Communicate with carriers to discuss delivery issues on a day to day basis.
  • Complete various daily, weekly, and monthly analysis and report.

50%        POD Collections

  • Obtains all POD (Proof of Delivery) for a territory assigned
  • Maintain above 99% on time POD collection (within ten business days from delivery)
  • Download daily snapshots from TMS for analysis and action
  • Manually Upload PODs to TMS
  • In depth understanding of our process for carrier education purposes
  • In depth understanding of logistics industry’s standards and best practices
  • Advise Team Leader of all current issues and exceptions

 

40%        POD Validation and Audit

  • In depth review of provided PODs and audit for any exceptions
  • Compiles data for a daily report for management and follow up with concerned departments and carriers

10%          IOD Collections and Coverage

  • Maintain daily communications with carriers to ensure on time deliveries
  • Identify trends and issues that can adversely effect on time IOD/POD collections
  • Maintain above 98% on time IOD collection (within one business day from delivery)
  • Support carriers to confirm deliveries [IOD] to TMS
  • Assists team members with their duties when needed

8. Transportation Specialist

We are currently searching for a highly motivated Transportation Specialist (Assistant Manager Level).

CORE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

[Primary R&R]

50%    LGEUS Annual Bidding

  • Assist with the coordination of One to One meetings between; LGEUS, CNS, Pantos USA, and the Carriers.
  • Assist with the distributions and daily follow ups on bidding legal/material.
  • Taken initiative by creating a master file/pivots to keep records on documents received and pending.
  • Make sure carriers understands company policies and procedures
  • Totally in charge of distribution, execution and collections of RSA’s as well as the contracts.
  • Maintain internal/ external team counterparts informed on the progress.
  • Assist with uploads in GSI system on final agreements between both parties.
  • After contracts execution, system manuals/ guidelines are provided to the carriers, coordinates training sessions and create schedules.
  • Perform continues follow ups with new carriers until first tenders are successfully sent and confirmed by carriers.

50%    Contract Management

  • Manage and organize existing contracts, amendments, appendix and COI in the system.
  • Participate in the contract progress to ensure that the contract is concluded in a short period of time.
  • Ensure to follow up with carriers and internal departments in timely manner to expedite contract execution.
  • Organize the clauses changed (red-line) by the carrier and negotiate with the carrier after consulting with the internal departments.
  • Arrange conference calls or meetings with carriers as required.
  • Record and analyze previous negotiations and reflect to next contract.
  • Collect certificate of insurance and updated contact points from carriers.
  • Manage vendor registration for both existing and new carriers.
