Job Description
Assistant Inventory Manager monitors available products, ensures inventory accuracy, and maintains daily records. Primary function of this position is to track current inventory. Identify factory related issues pertaining to inventory discrepancies. Identify dead stock, turns, and improve workflow. Manage a team of inventory counters.
Duties and Responsibilities
§ Identify purchasing related problems
§ Cycle Counting
§ Entering data into a WMS (warehouse management system)
§ Assist in Slotting, moving, and consolidating SKU’s
§ Assist in processing new SKU’s
§ Assist in quality control
§ Maintain effective communication with the purchasing department
§ Create reports for SKU analyses and turn management
§ Complete projects in a timely manner
Requirements
§ Education: Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Management or Business Administration preferred)
§ 2+ years experience using an ERP system (Microsoft dynamics preferred)
§ 2~4 years experience managing inventory and/or purchasing
§ Strong organizational and analytical skills
§ Advance knowledge and use of Microsoft office (excel, outlook, power point)
§ Able to work in a fast paced environment while retaining strong attention to detail
§ Proactive “Leader by example” via Hands-on management
