Purchasing Assistant Manager
Flexfit LLC is a Headwear Company that has been
operating for the last 40 years based in Hicksville, NY. It provides headwear for the leading fashion
brands around the world.
This position supports the customer service mission of
the company by ensuring that goods are purchased promptly and accurately and
that proper inventory levels and pricing are maintained.
- Places purchase orders to our overseas factory to
fulfill distributor requirements and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Analyzes order/shipment/sales data and generates the monthly production targets to ensure high
- Prepare and submit detailed reports : PSI, WIP and Sales & Product analysis
- Communicates closely with overseas factories for managing production and shipment
Job Eligibility Requirements:
- A strong analytical mindset and strategic planning skills for best purchasing practices
- Outstanding organizational skills and detail oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- College degree
- US Citizen or Green card holder
- Minimum 5-10 yrs. experience in the fashion/apparel industry. Headwear/Cap knowledge and Promotional industry experience would be a plus.
- Fluent in both English & Korean
- MS Office, strong knowledge of MS Excel(Pivot table) desired
