Korean Franchise Company in F&B is seeking a culinary R&D manager with some of experience in food industry.

 

Bonchon is a franchise company who specialized in Korean-style fried chicken and a variety of savory Asian fusion dishes. Bonchon has travelled far and wide from South Korea, to become the internationally loved brand it is today. Our mission is to be a company which cares for and grows with our franchisees and customers. Through a culture of hard work and loyalty, we aspire to be a reliable and constant source of quality food and service, dedicating ourselves to encouraging joy and positive energy in all those who encounter us.

Skill Requirements:

- Leads, trains and teaches the Bonchon mission, vision and values

- Support new restaurant opening progress

- Supervise existing restaurant operations by region

- Conduct hands-on franchisee training, onsite training and quality assurance check

- Perform Market research, business analysis and set up the action plan in order to improve the operations level and trouble shoot issues

- Implement food safety standards

- Independently initiates, investigates and implements new formulations, process improvements and cost saving projects

- Evaluates and makes recommendations concerning the application of new ingredient

- develop new products by conducting consumer testing

- observing market trends and modifying existing recipes

- complying with standards of product labeling

- Set up menu strategy along with Brand concept

- Find new vendors to supply new ingredients for new menus

- Have experience in Korean & Asian food industry

- Food cost management for each menu item

- Prepare various samples for new menu items



The candidate should be:

Proficient in MS Office
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Must be able to handle and manage different projects at the same time
Graduated Culinary Institute
Very organized and detailed
Well knowledge of Korean food

Leadership, decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility
